Our Journey

• Mid 2020: Mykel Mietlinski developed his passion for aviation by initially honing his skills in flight simulators, where he gained a solid understanding of aircraft controls, flight mechanics, and navigation techniques. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in piloting, which later translated into his proficiency in real-world drone operations.
• Late 2021: Mykel Mietlinski purchased a DJI FPV drone with the goal of mastering the art of first-person view (FPV) flying, allowing for a more immersive and dynamic aerial experience. This decision marked the beginning of his journey to enhance his piloting skills and explore the world of high-speed, precise drone maneuvers.
• Late 2022: Mykel Mietlinski purchased a DJI Avata to enhance his ability to work on indoor drone projects, leveraging the drone's compact design, advanced flight stability, and built-in propeller guards, which make it ideal for navigating tight indoor spaces safely and capturing high-quality footage in environments where larger drones may be less practical.
• August 2024: Mykel Mietlinski successfully obtained his FAA Part 107 certification, which qualifies him to legally operate drones for commercial purposes. This certification demonstrates his knowledge of airspace regulations, safety procedures, and operational skills, allowing him to perform a wide range of professional drone services, including aerial photography, videography, and other commercial drone-related work.
• Late 2024: Aeolus Aerial Media was established with the goal of delivering innovative and high-quality aerial solutions, officially launching its services in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Since its inception, the company has focused on providing cutting-edge drone-based media services, leveraging advanced technology to meet the dynamic needs of local businesses and clients across the region.
